It all started in 1963

With a $800 bank loan, Leland Collier opened the doors of Leland Collier Electric in 1963. While serving in the Navy, he learned the valuable trade of being an electrician and started the business shortly after his service tenure concluded.

Leland would build relationships with window air conditioner installers; he was the go-to electrician for installing the outlet for the units.

1964 – 1973

During this time period, Leland Collier would focus on residential service work, including the wiring of newly constructed homes and renovation projects.

First School in 1982

The reputation and quality of Leland Collier quickly spread around the industry. In 1982, Leland secured and completed his first large school electrician installation job.

1982 to Today

Leland Collier Electric Company has grown to the size it is today focusing on educational, corporate, and large-scale construction projects. Most of the company’s work in in Education K-12 servicing the I-35 corridor from North DFW to South Austin. The company also serves general contractors and clients with large-scale/private project installations.
